"Connections" is for all high school youth. Connections meets at St. Leo Church on Sunday’s during the school year, after the 5:30pm Mass.
At Connections, we share a meal, discuss issues, celebrate our faith, and have fun. Activities throughout the year include movies, small and large group discussions, speakers, community building, and prayer. We begin each night with dinner and end with prayer at 8:30 pm. Through peer ministry, youth learn about their common struggles, and how our faith sheds light on those struggles.
Students from over 16 Public and Catholic High Schools in the Omaha area gather to make friends, have fun, and share their faith.
Our activities cover a broad range, while bringing youth together in an atmosphere that is comfortable. Connections hosts numerous events such as a trip to World’s Of Fun, a hayrack ride, the Archdiocesan Youth Rally, and a fast paced game at every gathering. Please see the brochure for the many events that you can participate in.
If you would like to register, I encourage you to fill in the registration form available on this page, or on the wall outside room W-2, and send it to me, or you can drop it at the St. Leo Church office from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or mail it to me.
