St Leo Tree RCIC - Rite of Christian Initiation for Children

"In the sacraments of Christian initiation we are freed from the power of darkness and joined to Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. We receive the Spirit of filial adoption and are part of the entire people of God in the celebration of the memorial of the Lord's death and resurrection." (RCIA, General Introduction #1)

This program runs through the school year on Wednesday evenings for children Grades 3 through 8 who have not celebrated one or more of the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation, and for children interested in an initiation into the Catholic Church. Each child has an adult sponsor who attends each meeting with him or her. The program is coordinated by Sr. Ann Marie Petrylka.
