St Leo Tree RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

"In the sacraments of Christian initiation we are freed from the power of darkness and joined to Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. We receive the Spirit of filial adoption and are part of the entire people of God in the celebration of the memorial of the Lord's death and resurrection." (RCIA, General Introduction #1)

RCIA (Rites for Christian Initiation for Adults) is the process by which adults may come fully into the Church through the Sacraments of Initiation.

Here at St Leos, we offer this process beginning in the Fall. Sessions are held weekly on Thursday nights at 7:00pm.

The actual Sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation) occur in unison with the rest of the Universal Church on Easter Vigil in the spring.

For more information about RCIA, please contact the parish office: 397-0407
