"I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee." (Psalm 144)
Why do we sing as we pray? "God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes its source. Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever his people sing his praises" (STL #1).
St. Leos offers numerous opportunities for being involved with Music Ministry. We invite you to share your gifts and talents for the glory of God in the Sunday and weekday liturgical celebrations, on holy days, at weddings, funerals and reconciliation services.
