Celebrating Special Events

In order to celebrate most fully the special events of our Church, the St Leo “Holy Day Choir” assembles for each of the special Holy Days observed throughout the liturgical year as well as special events held by our Parish. The services each year usually include (varies upon year): All Saints Day, All Souls Day, the Feast of Saint Leo, Confirmation, Immaculate Conception, Reconciliation Services, Christmas Day, the Lenten Parish Mission, First Eucharist, Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil), Easter Day, and Ascension Thursday.

Responsibilities

Musicians in this group are required to come to rehearsals (a detailed schedule for the year can be
found online: http://www.stleo.net/ministries/music/ index.php), practice assigned music on their own, and try their best. Musicians are also invited at times to work up solos, duets, or other small group pieces which are worked on outside of rehearsals.
