Corporate Gift Matching
CORPORATE GIFT MATCHING GENERAL INFO
· Corporate Gift Matching is a program which companies will match and
sometimes exceed an employees contribution dollar for dollar intended for a
worthwhile cause. The contribution has to be for a valid cause -
( in our case - St. Pius/St. Leo's School)
· Corporate Gift Matching CAN NOT be applied to the churches.
· The focus on Corporate Gift Matching thus far as St. Pius/St. Leo's school, has been during the annual St. Pius/St. Leo's fundraiser in the fall. There will still be some focus on corporate gift matching during the fundraiser, but we would like to continue to express its importance throughout the year, similar to how the C.A.R.E. program operates today.
· Corporate Gift Matching can be viewed as a 401K plan for St. Pius/St. Leo's school. Consider it the best return on an investment that our school children can receive, BAR NONE!!!
· All parishioneers and relatives - (grandparents, aunts, uncles…) of our school children can help make a difference for St. Pius/St. Leo's school if their company participates in a gift matching program for elementary education.
· Corporate Gift Matching is a WIN WIN WIN situation for everyone
involved. The reasons for this are as follows:
· CORPORATION - They are able to help their community and know they helped
a good cause.
· DONATOR-(EMPLOYEE) - Make a direct impact for the better of our school
children.
Can report the donation on one's tax filings.
· FACULTY - Funds are received that will help to keep St. Pius/St. Leo's
functioning as one of the best schools in the
metro area.
· SCHOOL CHILDREN - Last but definitely not least, our children are our parish communities most valuable possession, SO PLEASE!!!!! GIFT MATCH and make a difference in their lives.
